A dear brother in christ broke the news that he is going for surgery to remove a growth in his liver. The doctor suspected that it is malignant as blood test result shows positive for the cancer marker.
The irony of the whole episode is that we were just about to get together for a good time of fellowship after many years of not being able to come together for whatever reasons. I believe God has provided this divine appointment for us to be able to render spiritual support to our brother at his hour of need.
It is at this time that the church rally around him and his family - to intercede, to give our support in whatever ways so that he, by the grace of God, will be able to sail through this storm, or giant in his life and emerge victorious.
