I came across a post recently on World Net Daily that MacDonald has signed onto a nationwide effort to promote "gay" and "lesbian" business ventures in the US. They have one of their guy sitting on the board of NGLCC ( National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce ).
Wal-Mart did the same thing and came up against a host of protests from Christian groups that eventually led them to backtrack on their commitment to NGLCC.
These issues may be trivial as compared with those coming from within the Christian community like embracing homosexuality in the church. However it should help us to rethink how sometimes our simple act of buying grocery from the supermarket or eating a simple meal may invariably contribute to pushing the agenda of these groups.
As for me, I think I will be laying off that McChicken for sometime to come.
Hey...there is still Burger King or Carls Junior...right?
